
A Colombian court docket on Tuesday overturned the witness-tampering conviction of former president Álvaro Uribe, scrapping a 12-year home arrest sentence that had drawn US criticism. Uribe, 73, was convicted in August of pressuring paramilitaries to disclaim hyperlinks to him, marking the primary legal conviction of a Colombian ex-president.
