US strikes on alleged drug traffickers are “optimistic” and “lawful” says ex Colombian President Ivan Duque

In an interview with FRANCE 24, former Colombian president Iván Duque defended US army strikes in opposition to alleged drug-trafficking boats, rejecting present president Gustavo Petro’s denunciation of the operations as “homicide”. “If the US makes use of its capability to hold out interdiction, I believe it’s lawful,” Duque stated.
